Masters Swimming Competition

I was commissioned in March 2018 to cover the Masters Swimming Competition in Brasilia, Brazil.

The challenge: A manual focus prime lens. Not made for sports Photography. Means, no zoom was possible. Neither autofocus. Still, it was the best choice I had in my bag.

This gig was an initiative from a coach and a couple of athletes. No budget for extra lens. I was forced to move around the pool to shoot the athletes on movement with a good focus, manually.

It was a fulfilling experience to achieved great results on being limited. That pushed my skills to the edge.
